Etsy Love: These Freddie Mercury Pins Are the Champions

Freddie MercuryIn case you weren’t aware: Yes, I’m still obsessed with all things Freddie Mercury and Bohemian Rhapsody!! Four months after seeing the movie, which was LIFE CHANGING, I’m still playing Queen’s songs on repeat, watching endless clips on YouTube and over the weekend, I even stayed up late reading an article about Mercury.

The verdict: I. Am. Obsessed.

And speaking of obsessed, I’m in love with these pins on Etsy that honor the genius that was Freddie Mercury!!! From his signature pose to some clever Queen-inspired picks, there’s something for every fan to love!! Here are four of my favorites, starting with this one ($11) of Royal Freddie…

Freddie MercuryClassic concert pose, $9.95

Freddie MercuryCute cat shot, $11

Freddie MercuryQueen lyrics, $1.90

Have you seen Bohemian Rhapsody, friends? Do you have a favorite Queen or Freddie Mercury song? I’ve always been partial to “Somebody To Love” and “Save Me” — the melody, the lyrics, the emotion! I could go on for days, obviously!! xoxo

Etsy Love: Gold Garnet Half Eternity Ring

Eternity Ring Eternity RingI’ve marveled at plenty a pretty bauble over the years. So many beauties on Etsy that my eyes sometimes start spinning from all the glitz, glamour and glory! And of all the baubles I’ve blogged about, I’m still in mourning that this little number is no longer available; why, oh, why did I snatch it up when I had the chance?? But! All hope is not lost, thankfully! Just feast your eyes on this FANTASTIC gold garnet half eternity ring from ARDONN…

The garnet color reminds me of my red hair, so how cool would it be to color-coordinate the two?!? All I’d need to complete the look would be a red shirt and a red bracelet — perhaps of the carnelian kind??

Eternity RingAre you a fan of this ring style, friends? I didn’t think I’d like an eternity ring, but there’s just something so pretty about it, don’t you think?? xoxo

⭐️Etsy Love: Star Rings Are Out of This World⭐️

Star RingsHave I ever told you about my love of space? It’s a fascination and slight obsession, really. The galaxy. The sun. The moon. The planets. And…the stars!! And speaking of stars, I’m loving these star rings on Etsy lately!!

Maybe I like the fact that the universe reminds me of my father, who used to sit outside with me on a clear summer night and tell stories about the stars. Or maybe I just like the idea of having such a complicated, intangible idea like space in a tangible form around my finger — you know, something that helps me feel a little more connected to the grand cosmos out there.

Either way, there’s something really pretty and understated about gold star rings, like this Zodiac band ($19.93) — it’s demure, but still bold enough to make a statement, don’t you think? Like those stars in the night sky, these rings pop without being overpowering; you notice them, but they’re still sort of subtle and quiet. That’s enough personification, huh?

Anyway, in case you need more convincing, here are three more opulent options…

Star RingsStellar stacker, $25

Star RingsDainty starburst, $21.31

Star RingsCelestial signet, $22.52

Which are you favorite of the star rings style, friends? Do you love all things space or are you more of an Earth-dweller? Also, if you have any other recent Etsy faves, I’d love to see them!! xoxo

Style Guide: Mickey Mouse Mania

Mickey MouseHe’s the friendliest mouse in the house! He’s the cutest creature in countless movies! And he’s celebrating his 90th birthday this month! He’s the one and only Mickey Mouse!!!

Can you believe the little guy has been an icon for NINETY YEARS?? How has he managed to maintain his radiant glow and youthful exuberance? He’s loved by children and adults alike and he’s become such a cultural touchstone. For generation after generation. I’ve always had a special connection to Mickey Mouse and all things Disney, from my love of classic Disney movies like The Little Mermaid to my trip to Disney World through the Make-A-Wish Foundation when I was just 13. Oh, it was definitely the most magical summer vacation I’ve ever had and I smile every time I think of those memories. After all, that theme park IS the happiest place on Earth, and whose smiling face is at the center of all that happiness?

Mickey Mouse, of course! He’s stood the test of time, so I thought it only fitting to honor him with his very own Style Guide today! Here are 8 Mickey-centric fashion picks sure to make your inner Disney lover smile with glee…

Mickey MouseClassic t-shirt, $19.99 | Cool sneakers, $65 | Spiffy socks, $15 | Vintage backpack, $45 | Cute beanie, $12.90 | Personalized necklace, $31.74 | Denim embroidered baseball cap, $10.39 | Cozy sweater, $49.95

Are you feeling nostalgic yet, friends? I don’t know about you, but I’ve been singing the theme song from MMC the whole time I’ve been writing this post! What is your favorite Mickey Mouse fashion statement? xoxo

This Mountain Ring Will Take You to New Heights

Mountain Ring Mountain RingDo you see what I did there, friends? Nice pun, huh? Seriously, though, I’m really in love with this mountain ring from Everli Jewelry and have been admiring it ever since I discovered it a few months ago!

And then today, I was looking at it again and started thinking about all the cool symbolism behind wearing such a pretty ring. We’re forced to climb so many different mountains in life — in our careers, in our relationships, when it comes to our health. So when we do scale those “mountains” and come out victorious? THAT is most definitely something to celebrate, don’t you think? Maybe I’ll buy this ring for myself at the end of the year as a reminder for everything I’ve been through, especially during the last couple years. A reminder of where I’ve been — and, of course, a reminder of just how far I can climb too.

Mountain RingWhat do you think, friends? Isn’t this mountain ring beautiful? What “mountains” have you conquered lately? Remember, YOU CAN DO IT… xoxo

P.S. Remember these gorgeous birthstone stackers?
