Etsy Love: The Biggest Texas Ring For The Biggest Personality

Texas TexasI haven’t done a classic Etsy post for awhile (last year, actually!), so let’s take a bit of a breather from the heaviness of the world for a minute to admire this gem! It’s an opal ring IN THE SHAPE of Texas…

Maybe I chose this ring for a reason today! We started watching The Night Shift last week (sadly, we finished The West Wing, but be on the lookout for lots of posts on that soon!) and we really like it! The show follows a group of emergency room doctors working — you guessed it! — the night shift at a big Texas hospital and, well, now it’s got me yearning to travel to the one and only Lone Star state!!! The food! The people! The energy! Seriously, as the saying goes, EVERYTHING is bigger in Texas — and that probably includes my Big Hair Energy, don’t you think?

Anyway, that sense of awe and huge spectacles is what drew me to this ring. How cool is it? I was immediately drawn to its opal hue and the way it catches the light. Besides, who wouldn’t want to be walking around with the perfect conversation starter right there on your finger?!?!? Plus, if I actually did visit Texas one day, I could have a marvelous meta moment — and you know how much I love all things meta!

TexasHave you ever traveled to Texas, friends? What was your favorite part?? Also, have you found any standout gems in your online browsing lately? Let me know in the comments! xoxo

Etsy Love: The Perfect Pink Opal Ring For Fall

Pink Opal Ring Pink Opal RingLongtime readers of So About What I Said know that I used to do a ton of posts on my favorite Etsy finds because, well, I’m a bit obsessed with this handmade paradise! And this pink opal ring is no exception! In fact, it falls on the high end of the obsession spectrum — and, yes, that’s a real thing that I just invented!

Isn’t this ring gorgeous? I’m such a sucker for pale pink and this fits the bill. Plus, the branch-inspired band reminds me of fall, leaves and all things cozy! It’s just the right mood-booster for the upcoming colder days — and you know how much I love how much the color pink just POPS out at you, right??

Pink Opal RingWould you wear this pink opal ring for fall, friends? What’s your favorite color when it comes to your fashion choices these days?? xoxo

Etsy Love: Gold Unicorn Rings As Unique As You Are

Unicorn RingsSpeaking of things that were trending on Twitter last week, did you happen to see the hashtag about National Unicorn Day?? I was so disappointed because I didn’t see it until the evening and the day was almost over!! Boo!! But what’s even better than unicorns alone? Unicorn rings, of course!!

Really, this is the blending of two of my very favorite things: Pretty jewelry and mystical creatures! And because I’ve been really into gold lately, I thought this Etsy Love should be all about the beauty of gold. So, here are four gold unicorn rings that are pretty and perfect just in time for spring, starting with this stacking rustic hammered band ($24), which would be a sweet nod to your whimsical side…

Unicorn RingsThis fierce number, $49.50

Sweet and dainty, $20

Unicorn RingsAnd, this bold one, $35.02

For the record, yes, I fully believe that somewhere, unicorns exist — they’re running through a field and living out their days in happy, joyful merriment.

Which ring is your favorite, friends?!? Plus, because I’m dying to know…do you believe in unicorns??

P.S. Remember this entire gift guide??

Etsy Love: Gold Garnet Half Eternity Ring

Eternity Ring Eternity RingI’ve marveled at plenty a pretty bauble over the years. So many beauties on Etsy that my eyes sometimes start spinning from all the glitz, glamour and glory! And of all the baubles I’ve blogged about, I’m still in mourning that this little number is no longer available; why, oh, why did I snatch it up when I had the chance?? But! All hope is not lost, thankfully! Just feast your eyes on this FANTASTIC gold garnet half eternity ring from ARDONN…

The garnet color reminds me of my red hair, so how cool would it be to color-coordinate the two?!? All I’d need to complete the look would be a red shirt and a red bracelet — perhaps of the carnelian kind??

Eternity RingAre you a fan of this ring style, friends? I didn’t think I’d like an eternity ring, but there’s just something so pretty about it, don’t you think?? xoxo

⭐️Etsy Love: Star Rings Are Out of This World⭐️

Star RingsHave I ever told you about my love of space? It’s a fascination and slight obsession, really. The galaxy. The sun. The moon. The planets. And…the stars!! And speaking of stars, I’m loving these star rings on Etsy lately!!

Maybe I like the fact that the universe reminds me of my father, who used to sit outside with me on a clear summer night and tell stories about the stars. Or maybe I just like the idea of having such a complicated, intangible idea like space in a tangible form around my finger — you know, something that helps me feel a little more connected to the grand cosmos out there.

Either way, there’s something really pretty and understated about gold star rings, like this Zodiac band ($19.93) — it’s demure, but still bold enough to make a statement, don’t you think? Like those stars in the night sky, these rings pop without being overpowering; you notice them, but they’re still sort of subtle and quiet. That’s enough personification, huh?

Anyway, in case you need more convincing, here are three more opulent options…

Star RingsStellar stacker, $25

Star RingsDainty starburst, $21.31

Star RingsCelestial signet, $22.52

Which are you favorite of the star rings style, friends? Do you love all things space or are you more of an Earth-dweller? Also, if you have any other recent Etsy faves, I’d love to see them!! xoxo
