Well, friends, it looks like the holidays are in full swing around these parts. The most wonderful time of the year. The holly jolly Christmas. The season of joy and glad tidings. Don’t believe me? Here’s a little photographic proof, starting with a couple of my favorite things…
The tree is up, even if it’s leaning a bit this year…
Lots of presents are being wrapped…
Cookies have been decorated — and even more have been eaten.
And my first time in Ulta. A new love is born…a true love, my friends.
How are you getting ready for the holidays? Have you finished all your Christmas shopping? I finished ALL mine in just a few hours this morning. Let the excitement and fun begin! xoxo
Remember last spring when I invited some of my favorite blogging friends to share their spring must-haves? I really enjoyed the series, so I thought it would be fun to do another one! And with New Year’s Eve right around the corner, what better time to talk all about our hopes and dreams for 2015…?
The series? “My Dream For 2015.”
I want to hear from you, friends! What’s your dream for 2015? What are you most excited about? What are your goals?
It could be one goal or several, something you want to start or something you want to stop once and for all, but what I really want is to get us talking and sharing since I know the new year can be a bit daunting, at least to me.
Feel free to email me at email@example.com with your story! I plan on starting the series the first or second week of January. Can’t wait to hear from you, friends! xoxo

I have a never-ending list of favorite Etsy shops (obviously…), but there’s one that’s always been at the top of my list. It’s the one I can spend hours scrolling through and always find something new. You might even remember this giveaway from a few years ago. Colby is the amazing jewelry designer behind Colby June Jewelry, a Colorado-based Etsy shop filled with charms, bracelets, rings, necklaces and earrings. “Natural beauty inspires my work and preservation of the environment is of the highest importance,” she says of her jewelry.
Well, you can imagine my excitement when Colby offered to send me a piece from her Pine Cone Collection. The new collection, inspired by the pine cones found at the base of Mount Sopris, just outside of Carbondale, Colorado, features nature-inspired jewelry. The rings, bracelets and earrings remind me of taking a walk through the woods in the early days of spring when everything is just starting to turn green again.
Colby sent me the bronze wide pine cone ring, and I love the simple, elegant look of it, don’t you? There’s something understated about it, yet it still stands out — definitely the perfect piece for winter.
Thanks so much, Colby! Make sure you visit Colby June Jewelry and shop their holiday sale! Everything is 15% off through Wednesday! xoxo
(Colby June Jewelry sent me the bronze pine cone ring, though all opinions expressed are my own. Thanks so much for continuing to support So About What I Said’s wonderful sponsors!)
