Found: The Prettiest Rosemary Place Cards

How pretty are these rosemary place cards from calligraphy extraordinaire Lauren Saylor, who reminds us that “place cards don’t always have to be paper. Sometimes adding a thoughtful detail that will get your friends excited and add a gorgeous touch to the table is the way to go. Adding a some fragrant herbs, leafy greens and a simple ribbon finishes off your place cards!”

I’d say she hit the jackpot, wouldn’t you, friends! Such a sweet idea for a fun summery event… xoxo

P.S. Fruit-flavored ice cubes, United States cutting boards, beach tents, sweet lollipops and funny key tags. 🙂

Dream Vacation: Gardens of Marqueyssac

The Hanging Gardens of Marqueyssac are a beautiful collection of gardens on the grounds of the 17th Century Chateau de Marqueyssac in France. The gardens, constructed high above the Dordogne River, contain more than 150,000 boxwood trees and form spectacular winding walking paths.

And, how cool are all those different shapes? Weekend road trip, anyone?? xoxo

Spring Inspiration on Pinterest

I’ve got a confession to make: Spring seduced me this year in a major way. The sights, the smells, the pastel colors — they all gave summer a run for its money as my favorite season. So how did I deal with these new and unexpected feelings? Expressed them on Pinterest, of course! I’ve been pinning all things spring like it’s going out of style. Here are a few of my favorites from the bunch, starting with this bike basket full of flowers, via Design Love Fest…

Denim on denim, via Jennifer Causey.

Coconut and blood orange popsicles, via Fork Knife Swoon.

What are you pinning lately, friends? Want more spring inspiration? Be sure to follow my Spring Inspiration board on Pinterest for lots more fun! xoxo

Do or don’t: Edible flower popsicles

I’ve seen these popping up all over the Web lately, and I can’t decide: Yummy or not? Have you ever tried them, friends? Thoughts? xoxo

P.S. A new Open Letter is coming up this afternoon! 🙂
