How cute would these dainty rings be for springtime? They’d be a fun little accessory and would easily brighten up any outfit! Oh, the possibilities! See what happens when I take a trip down the Etsy rabbit hole? xoxo
Etsy Love: Fall Hair Accessories
I know we already talked about Fall Fashion 2015 last week, but I couldn’t resist sharing one more pretty trend: hair accessories. The whole flowers-in-your-hair look is typically such a summer staple — you picture long, billowing dresses matching the green or pink flower nestled in your hair. But, as I discovered on Etsy, there are so many fall-themed hair pieces — accessories full of reds and oranges and yellows. It almost feels like you plucked the leaves right off the tree, like in the gold leaf hair pin ($16), above. A few more of my favorites…
Burnt orange head wreath, $65…
Flower bobby pins, $14…
Mini floral comb, $34…
Rustic flower crown, $74…
Fall bridal hair crown, $33…
Wedding hair clip, $32
Would you wear this trend this fall, friends? How would you personalize the trend and make it your own? Which accessory is your favorite? xoxo
Etsy Love: Ceramic Face Planters
It’s only September 1st and my work space is already cluttered with papers, magazines and the occasional red sweater. Translation: It’s too early in the “school year” to be this disorganized.
I’m thinking one of these ceramic face planters would do wonders to brighten up my space and keep me on track. Can you imagine him saying (in a cartoon-y voice, of course!), “GET BACK TO WORK!“? It’d be even better than a boss! And the green foliage would be the perfect mood booster too! #WinWinWin
Etsy Love: Gorgeous Floral Notebooks
I’ll be doing a more proper Back-To-School round-up of my favorite picks next week, but I couldn’t wait to share these beautiful notebook from DubuDumo. The design shop has a whole bunch of office staples to brighten up your space, and I’ve always maintained that work becomes less like work and more like a fun adventure when you’ve equipped yourself with the right “tool.”
Don’t you agree, friends? xoxo
P.S. A new Letter To My Future Husband is coming up this afternoon! 🙂
Gorgeous Summer Wedding Flowers
We can’t keep fresh flowers in the house because Harry would devour them in one minute flat (literally!), but every so often, I find myself daydreaming about filling the house with beautiful living greenery instead of just our fake plant that we drape fairy lights over during the holidays!
How gorgeous are Sarah Winward‘s arrangements? The destination wedding florist’s work is inspired by the changing seasons in nature, and she has ventured all over the world creating flowers for couples on their special day.
I’m pretty taken with her summer flowers, obviously. Don’t they remind you of walks through garden flowers. Do you have a green thumb, friends? Any flowers brightening up your abode at the moment? What’s your favorite flower? xoxo
