Etsy Love: These Sweet Vintage Soda Pop Tees Are Super Delicious

vintage soda pop teesPop quiz (no pun intended): Say it’s a hot and humid summer afternoon and you desperately need to quench your thirst. You reach for an ice-cold can. What do you call that fizzy, bubbly goodness?? Soda or pop?? I only ask because these vintage soda pop tees are making my mouth water just looking at them…

I mean, we’ve already established just how much I adore all things soda pop! Case in point: When I was a teenager, we visited the World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta and, to this day, I dream of going back and immersing myself in the ultimate soda pop experience! Seriously, if you’ve never been there, I highly recommend it — and, no, this is NOT sponsored!

Anyway, I thought it only appropriate to celebrate my love of soda pop with some fashionable attire; I’ve even hinted that some soda pop tees would make a very suitable birthday present for me (*wink, wink…my birthday is less than two weeks away!), but my mom and sister didn’t seem enthused by my brilliant idea. But maybe they’ll see this post? Here are some of my favorite vintage soda pop tees picks, like this funny “It’s Called Pop, Not Soda” shirt, $25…

vintage soda pop teesA&W root beer, $19.20

vintage soda pop teesTake the Pepsi Challenge, $42

vintage soda pop tees’90s Coca-Cola polar bear, $19.99

So, friends…what’s YOUR favorite soda pop these days? Barq’s and Mountain Dew will always have my heart!! Stay cool in this summer heat… xoxo

P.S. Remember these cool magnets? And these vintage photos?

Etsy Love: The Cutest Cat Pins For Your Cat Lady Personality

Cat PinsI suppose my cat lady flair is coming out because I’m SO EXCITED to post about our new cat tomorrow (shoutout to Whitney!), but how adorable are these cat pins from Etsy shop Niaski…

United Kingdom-based designer Nia asks this question: “What if your favorite artists were cats?” Well, we don’t have to wonder too long because Nia gives us an answer in the form of her collection of — you guessed it! — cat pins that resemble famous painters and artists. Just a few of my favorites include Salvador Catli, above, as well as…

Cat PinsVincat Van Gogh…

Cat PinsPablo Picatso…

Cat PinsKitty Warhol…

Cat PinsFrida Catlo…

Isn’t that such a cool concept for an Etsy shop? Plus, the likeness to the artist is spot-on, if you ask me!! It’s the perfect blend of cat-like features and the artists’ trademark looks!!

Which is your favorite, friends?? xoxo

P.S. Remember these cute kitty mugs?

Etsy Love: Roaring Dinosaurs for Our Inner Paleontologist

DinosaursIf you know me at all, then you’ll know that I’ve been counting down the days until Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom stomps into theaters THIS Friday!!! Aren’t you as excited as I am?? In fact, I even have a super fun sponsored post all about dinosaurs coming up on Thursday, so get yourself pumped for that!! I mean, it’s totally ME…do you remember that time last summer when I took a selfie with Sue??

In honor of the new Jurassic World movie, I went on the Etsy hunt for all things dinosaurs! And, whoa, are the finds wonderful, indeed! Here are 5 dynamic dinosaur finds for the paleontologist within all of us, starting with this T-Rex planter ($20)…

DinosaursTriceratops initial necklace, $17

DinosaursPersonalized Jurassic Park mug, $9.99

DinosaursT-Rex ROAR pillow, $22.80 (and, of course, a funny one!)

Are you convinced about the awesomeness of dinosaurs yet, friends?!?!? Which gem is your favorite? xoxo

Etsy Love: Whimsical Stained Glass Feathers

Stained Glass FeathersIt’s time to be honest about something: I fully blame Facebook for my heightened Etsy addiction of late. I’ll be mindlessly scrolling through my feed and — BAM — I start seeing ads for pretty trinkets and baubles. One right after the other, so I must click on each one, naturally — I mean, wouldn’t you?? For example, take a gander at all the stained glass feathers and all their home decor possibilities from The Sweet Karma Bar…

Aren’t these items pretty?? I’d love to hang them in a place where they’d stream a lot of light and give the room a soft glow, especially at dusk during these tranquil summer nights!

Stained Glass FeathersPlus, my inner word lover can’t get enough of the shop’s tagline: “My side of the looking glass.” How’s that for an awesome play on words?!?!?

Do you have a favorite stained glass beauty, friends?? Are you a fan of the home decor look in general? xoxo

💎 Etsy Love: Bright and Shiny Gemstone Rings 💍

Gemstone Rings Gemstone RingsHow gorgeous are these shiny gemstone rings from Lara Mogensen on Etsy?

I have a history of gravitating toward all things delicate and dainty when it comes to jewelry, but I’m starting to appreciate the beauty of a gigantic pop of brightness — a bling of pizzazz, if you will. I may be a tad quiet and on the demure side sometimes, but I can also be loud and flashy at other times, so how cool to have a pretty piece that perfectly reflects my personality!  Try saying that one 10 times fast!

And I love the idea that the two fashion styles can both be my favorite — maybe they could even exist simultaneously? Or would that be too much of a fashion faux pas? You know I’m forever learning about the dos and don’ts of style.

Gemstone RingsWhich is your favorite color ring, friends? The pumpkin spice ring is great! Are you flashier or more understated when it comes to your own personal style? xoxo

P.S. More Etsy Love…
