The Introvert’s Life Explained In Charts

We introverts typically get a bad rap. We’re seen as cold, too shy and — maybe worst of all — leading lives that are more boring than watching paint dry. Well, as you can probably already imagine, I don’t agree with any of that nonsense, which is why my heart did a great big happy dance when I discovered Anna Borges’s cheat sheets to the introvert’s life. The BuzzFeed assistant health editor’s charts are spot-on, so listen up, people!

This is life, Introvert-Style. Do you agree, friends? Are you an introvert or an extrovert? Does it run in your family? Are you the opposite of your family and friends? xoxo

Getting Older Described in Charts and Graphs

Although I’m admittedly a few years past the big 3-0, these funny graphs still gave me a hearty chuckle this morning. Maybe I’m subconsciously still feeling the sting from turning the big 3-4 last week? xoxo

P.S. Janelle turns 30 in October. I should probably show her these… 🙂

There Are Two Kinds of People…

…which one are you?

That’s the pressing question posed on the Tumblr 2 Kinds of People, which features fun illustrations of everyday people, places and activities.

João Rocha the Lisbon-based art designer behind the blog, maintains that there are basically two kinds of people in this world. Those who prefer to watch TV on their laptops and those who like to watch on actual televisions. Those who cut their sandwiches in half and those who cut them diagonally. Those who use bookmarks and those who simply dog-ear the page. A few more of my favorite…

Do you identify with one more than the other, friends? Were you surprised by your choice? Has your preference changed a lot over the years? You can check out 2 Kinds of People for more witty illustrations, and feel free to submit your own “there are two kinds of people…” ideas in the comments! xoxo

Funny charts about brunch

Confession: I’ve never understood the popularity of brunch. It always seemed like it was one of those meals that was trying too hard to look all cool and hip. Maybe that’s why these made-up charts about brunch by San Francisco artist Michelle Rial made me chuckle today! And who could forget Portlandia’s take on brunch? So. Perfect. Are you a brunch person, friends? Do you have a favorite dish? xoxo
