Speaking of spring, I’ve been all into turquoise lately. If you looked at my Etsy search history, you’d see a variation of all sorts of turquoise gems — literally! So you can imagine my delight when I discovered MeadowbelleMarket, a gorgeous Etsy shop run by twin sisters Aundrea and Erin. The Missouri-based fashionistas craft silver and gold jewelry, including necklaces and earrings, and many of their handmade pieces burst with a big POP of color. But my absolute favorite thing about their collection? Their rings, of course — everything from personalized to birthstone to stacking — seem to offer something for everyone. I was lucky enough to partner with Aundrea and Erin for today’s Sponsor Spotlight post, and I’m in love with this turquoise ring they sent me. How beautiful is it, friends? Check out my chat with Erin to learn more about MeadowbelleMarket, and check out more photos of Yours Truly sporting my new bling!! xoxo

Tell me a bit about your shop. What’s the inspiration behind its launch?
My twin sister and I always wanted to have some type of creative business together. So our launch has basically been brewing since we were kids sewing doll clothes. We weren’t always sure what, but we knew we’d be making our own products. After much experimentation, we settled comfortably into making jewelry and accessories.
What are some trends we’re seeing as we move into the spring? What are some of your favorite fashion/jewelry trends?
Spring jewelry trends, of course, will be bright and new with a wash of fresh colors that pop. I’m looking forward to making more jewelry sea greens, blues and complimentary warm tones such as coral. Gold tones continue to be much-loved with rose gold on the rise.
What are some things people should keep in mind when shopping for jewelry?
Pick a few staple pieces in neutral tones and various styles. Choose at least one classic element for each of the following: work, leisure and an elegant night out. Rotate in new pieces each season that are bolder and more on-trend to keep your wardrobe effortlessly updated.
What are some ways that people can still look chic for less?
New jewelry is the perfect way to spruce up last year’s wardrobe, of course! A few basic jewelry staples are generally much more affordable than shopping for an entire new wardrobe.
What is your favorite piece in your shop and why?
It’s very difficult to choose one favorite piece in my shop! I take joy in creating a lot of different styles and experimenting. If I absolutely HAD to choose, it would be my dual birthstone ring, though. This seems to hold a lot of meaning for clients who order the ring. Generally, they combine two birthstones that hold special meaning for the wearer. I’ve absolutely adored hearing the stories and significance behind the stones selected.
(MeadowbelleMarket sent me the turquoise ring, though all opinions expressed are my own. Thanks so much for continuing to support So About What I Said’s wonderful sponsors!)
