My 34th Birthday!

At exactly 8:49 a.m. this morning, I rang in my 34th birthday! I know what you’re probably thinking, “But wait, she’s so carefree and youthful. She can’t be that old, can she? I mean, look at that stylish photo of her, posing for the camera and clutching that oh-so-fashionable brush. She was the epitome of ’80s chic. There’s NO WAY she’s 34 already…“

But I am.

34.

I’m not too sure how I feel about it all yet, but to put things in perspective, here are a few inventions from the 20th Century that are older than my 34 years…

*Yodel meter (1925)
*Finnish portable sauna (1962)
*TV dinner (1950s)
*Duct tape (WWII)
*The bra (modern design in the 1900s)

So there’s that! At least I can console myself with being younger than the yodel meter and duct tape!

I’m taking the rest of the day off from blogging to enjoy some birthday merriment — we’re going out to lunch and walking around my alma mater (which, ironically, is eerily similar to what we did last year!). We’ll be back to our regularly scheduled programming tomorrow. Have a great day, friends!!! LOVE YOU ALL!!!! xoxo

P.S. More birthday fun through the years: 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. πŸ™‚
