Family Photos: Scenes from the weekend…

Confession: We’ve been incredibly lazy about our holiday decorations this year. Last year, we had the tree up and everything by the beginning of December. I mean, we were on the ball. But this year? Well, not so much. We’ll hopefully be getting our house in the holiday spirit next weekend, but in the meantime, my mom bought this cute tree for her dresser in her room. It’s only three feet tall (hey, that’s only a foot shorter than I am!!), but it sparkles so beautifully in the dark. Plus, I’ve always loved how a lighted Christmas tree can really transform a room into a peaceful sanctuary.

Oh, and a couple more peaceful moments we caught this weekend…

The cats, apparently, didn’t want us to do anything this weekend. They wouldn’t leave my mom’s lap…

…and Harry just spent his Sunday hanging out on a purple jacket. #CrazyCats

Ms. Bear also baked her famous almond cookies for a church function, and of course, I stole a couple. Can you really blame me, though?

What moments did you capture this weekend, friends? I’d love to hear about them, so let’s chat! xoxo
