Hi Melissa! When I listen to these diary posts, it's like I am reading my own diary posts back again – I had a crush that went on for the best part of my teens. I was 10 when I first met him, he was 11 and I was CONVINCED for the better part of a decade (like you said – with 100% certainty) that it was destiny and we were meant to be. Until I grew up and realised that was ridiculous. Not sure where we get these ideas from (I want to say Disney movies) and looking back we may feel a bit stupid, but at the time – gosh those feelings were so real!! Thanks for being brave enough to read these. I could never read mine to other people!!

So About What I Said is a daily blog that covers relationships, disabilities, lifestyle and pop culture. I love to laugh and have been known to overshare. I also have an unabashed obsession with pop music, polo shirts, and PEZ dispensers. Read more...
