Must-watch TV show: Damages

My mom and I have the same conversation every time we finish binge-watching a TV series. It usually goes something like this…

Me: I can’t believe we’re done. What are we going to watch next?
Mom: I don’t know. What do you want to watch?
Me: I don’t know. What do you want to watch?
Mom: Well, I don’t know…

We go back and forth like that for far too long until we finally settle on a new series and find ourselves caught up in the joy and heart-pumping adventures yet again. On a whim a couple months ago, we started Damages based on Netflix’s lovely recommendation.

The result? Well, let’s just say that we’ve been a bit, ummm, obsessed with the legal thriller. It stars Glenn Close as beyond-ruthless attorney Patty Hewes, who will stop at nothing — and I mean nothing — to win. Add a junior attorney to the mix and watch things really heat up! What’s so great about this show is that each of the five seasons focuses on a different court case and is made up of flash forwards that slowly piece together the plot. By the end of the season, you’re biting your nails and sitting on the edge of your seat with anticipation.
We’ve only got two episodes left, and needless to say, I’m DYING! Have you seen the show, friends? What shows put you on the edge of your seat? xoxo

P.S. Two more great shows on Netflix. Also, look for another fun TV-themed post tomorrow! 🙂
