Love Lounge: What does your “somewhere over the rainbow” look like?

Speaking of lions and tigers and bears, I’ve mentioned before that The Wizard of Oz is one of my all-time favorite movies. It’s always reminded me of my childhood, a time where anything and everything is possible and home is always the place you want to return to. It’s a place that will always take you in, no matter how long you’ve been gone. Your home is your family, and your family is your home. Plain and simple.

And then (perhaps not by chance…?), I discovered this movie poster while out to lunch at Applebee’s with my mom a couple weeks ago.

It got me thinking, friends: Where is your “somewhere over the rainbow”? What does it look like? Are you by yourself? With your family? With your pets? Go ahead and leave your description in the comments! Let’s chat, shall we?!?!? xoxo

I would say that mine is certainly wherever my daughter is. Somewhere warm and peaceful, though, I hope! I love the movie too, and I have ever since I was young!

So About What I Said is a daily blog that covers relationships, disabilities, lifestyle and pop culture. I love to laugh and have been known to overshare. I also have an unabashed obsession with pop music, polo shirts, and PEZ dispensers. Read more...
