Happy Monday, friends! I suppose a little warning is in order this morning. OK, hold onto your hats and try to contain your inner fangirl because, well, it’s Beatles Week on So About What I Said. That’s right! To celebrate the 50th anniversary of those mop-top lads’ arrival to America and their debut performance on The Ed Sullivan Show, we’ll be taking a fun look all week long at the band that started a revolution. They’re one of my favorite bands, obviously, so I thought I’d honor another one of my favorite Beatles today — don’t forget this guy from last week, though. Today’s guy was soulful. He knew how to write a song. And he wanted nothing more than to hold our hand…
JOHN LENNON!!!!!!!!!!
“You don’t need anybody to tell you who you are or what you are. You are what you are!”
P.S. John Lennon on happiness and his to-do list.
