Holy flashback, Batman! The news segment outlined a brave new world for print journalism. Among its forward-thinking predictions: “The day will come when we get all our newspapers and magazines by home computer.” WHOA! But don’t worry, assured the reporter — that days is a few years off.
This, of course, got me thinking: How old were you when you got your first computer? Weren’t you sooo excited, like it was something from the future? xoxo

I was around 5 years old when I got my Commodore 64, but my brothers had their shared Commodore 128D when I was 3.5 years old and they taught me the Basic language on it!!! 😀

Oh man I was in the 3rd grade when I convinced my parents we needed one and they got one for Christmas. So I was 8 in 1990. I remember once after getting it I was using my computer when my cousin and Uncle came over looking for a typewritter. She had an essay due the next day and we offered her the computer to use, but she didn't know how to use it or if her teacher would accept a computer printed paper!
