Happy Birthday, Mom!

My mom turns 58 today, but as my sister and I are always telling her, “you’re still so childlike.” We never mean this as an insult; in fact, we say it with the utmost respect and admiration. My mom, despite all she’s been through in her life, has managed to hold onto her glass-half-full sense of optimism, her sense of wonder and most importantly, her sense of love. I’m pretty sure I’ve said this a time or two, but I wouldn’t be who I am without her guiding love and support.

Mom, I hope you know just how much I love you, each and every day. Thank you for being my rock. I still want to be just like you when I grow up. Happy birthday, Ms. Bear! xoxo
