Tell me about your shop. What’s the inspiration behind its launch?
I started my shop when my first son was about a year old, and I wanted to find a way to be able to stay home with him. I had been making jewelry on and off for several years, and my mom suggested opening an Etsy shop. Once I started selling on Etsy and getting some repeat customers, I was hooked.

What are some trends we’re seeing as we move into the fall? What are some of your favorite fashion trends?
Fall always brings back some of my favorite colors to work with: mustard, rust, olive and Earth tones. I have some really pretty pieces that are inspired by fall with Czech glass beads and jewels in warm autumn colors. My favorite fall fashions are skinny jeans with boots and cozy sweaters and scarves.

What are some things people should keep in mind when shopping for jewelry?
It’s a good idea to know about how long you like your necklaces and bracelets to be. Etsy now has a cool feature where you can select lengths and colors or other options for the items you purchase. Knowing your size makes it easier for me to make the item so it fits you perfectly!

What are some ways that people can still look chic for less?
Find a few pieces that you love and make sure that they will work with more than one outfit. A lightweight pair of statement earrings like these can be a versatile addition to your wardrobe, and a larger necklace can instantly perk up a casual outfit.

What is your favorite piece in your shop and why?
I really like this necklace — it’s a classic piece, but the teal patina makes it stand out. It’s a great everyday necklace.
