One of my goals this summer is to get into an exercise routine. At the top of my must-have moves? Prancercise! Ever since creator Joann Rohrback’s 1989 video went viral last week, I — and the rest of the Internet — have become obsessed with this new way of moving and grooving.
I’m thinking I’d have to modify the routine a bit since I’ll be using my walker (those ankle weights are probably out…), but I can’t wait to get prancing! As Joann says, it’s time to “stop talking and do some walking.”
I’d love to know, friends: What’s your go-to fitness routine? Any tips for me as I begin my journey? Will you be taking part in the
Prancercise craze this summer?
P.S. I’ve got another summer project that I can’t wait to tell you about. Look for it on the blog in the next few weeks… ๐

This is cool! When you asked for questions, one of the ones I haven't asked yet was what you do to keep strong in body.
Pracercise, huh? Is this seriously a craze? It's a good workout, gotta admit.
I swim 3-5 times a week. Usually do 12 -15 laps of American crawl and breast stroke, then standing yoga poses in the water. Around town doing errands I either ride my bicycle or walk places. Luckily, at my age (well over 60) I'm tubby but in great shape.
Can't wait to hear about your other project.

Let's see. I like to change things up. I do HIIT for about twenty minutes twice a week. I run 3 miles 2 days a week and 4 miles one day a week (sometimes less, with more days-anything to equal 10 miles total.) Also, I swim when I am not "feeling" the work out thing. Swimming is fun, so it keeps my mind off the exercise aspect. ๐

Hmmmm…
I'm not really into exercising right now as I have just an asthma attack but I do try to walk with my hubby in the afternoons or early mornings.

I use a walker too so if you find a way to manage this routine with your's, let me know. I feel like I'd look fabulous walking down the street like that lady…

I thought this was absolutely hysterical!

I kind of find that ridiculous. Itยดs funny but I would not call this serious workout!
