As for advice, pick a topic you love and people will love it. Also, post consistently, and reach out to the blogging community to get your name out there. It takes work to build up your blog, but if you’re persistent and determined, you can do it.
How do YOU do it, friends? What has worked for you? Do you have a blogging routine? What blogging advice would you give to someone just starting out in the blogosphere? xoxo

Create a blog that you love. If you love what you're doing, the experience is reward in itself. Post lots of pictures. I love seeing photos.

I think consistency is so important when it comes to blogging–that doesn't have to mean every morning at precisely 6am, but I think your audience likes to have some idea of what to expect and when it can expect it!

I'm not sure if any newbies will read this comment I left, but here we go:)
Have fun would be my first. If you write posts you don't enjoy yourself there really is no point in blogging.
Also get a routine that works for you, whether that's every day, once a week or only after certain happenings. Just something that suits you and your schedule.
Other than that I'd also say: stay in touch with community. I find that if I can't comment on other blogs for a while, I'll get a lot less comments myself. Besides, it's fun to befriend other bloggers:)

I agree. Embracing the community is the best part…also find inspiration absolutely everywhere and ask around to see what resonates with your readers.

My #1 piece of blogging advice is – Just go for it! I am new to blogging. My blog is less than a year old. I don't worry too much about how many reads each post gets. I just enjoy the process of letting my thoughts, experiences, and projects join the collective expression of everyone else.
