Sponsor Spotlight: G&E Prints

Today, I had the opportunity to chat with Elizabeth, who, along with her partner, Genesis, runs G&E Prints. The Etsy shop of whimsical and romantic prints and cards completely matches the pair’s personalities. Read on for their tips and tricks! xoxo
Below are the answers for the spotlight questions.
So tell me a bit about you and your shop…
Well, it’s actually run by my partner, Genesis, and me. We are passionate about the things we create, from art to music to film. Our shop right now offers prints and cards that we enjoy making for our customers. Our main goal is to provide affordable art that’s well made and well thought out. We want our shop to be an environment where our customer’s experience is always a pleasant one.

What inspired you to start the shop?
It was more a decision than an inspiration. We’ve always created art for fun, and one night, we thought, “Hey, why don’t we open an Etsy shop,” and that’s what we did the next day. We hope that others enjoy our art as much as we enjoy creating it.

What’s your best piece of advice for people looking for great online shopping deals?
For us, a great shopping deal is a combination of good prices and great customer service. Shop around and look for places that offer both.

In this recession economy, what are some ways people can still look chic for less?
We think that looking chic is more than looks — it’s a way of life. It’s the way you carry yourself, and it’s free. Anything else is extra.
What is your favorite item in your shop and why?
I can honestly say that I favor them all. If I’m not 100% in love with something, it doesn’t go in the shop.

So About What I Said is a daily blog that covers relationships, disabilities, lifestyle and pop culture. I love to laugh and have been known to overshare. I also have an unabashed obsession with pop music, polo shirts, and PEZ dispensers. Read more...
