Have a romantic weekend

Happy Friday, friends! Did you have a good week? What are your plans for the weekend? We had a quiet day at home and thought about my dad a lot. We’re going to the wedding of a family friend tomorrow; summer weddings are so magical and romantic, aren’t they? And speaking of romantic, I’m excited to share a new MEMO TO MEN and Letter To My Future Husband. Also, I’ve been itching to do a new Video Hello — it’s been a year and a half since I’ve done one! Any topic suggestions? Anything on your mind? In the meantime, I hope you all have a great weekend, and here are my favorite finds from the wonderful Web…

10 wedding etiquette rules it’s OK to break.

The new right way to apologize.

Are you staying with friends or relatives this summer? Here’s a great hostess gift round-up.

Life lessons from Jurassic Park.

I love this new poster of Marissa Mayer, by the same artist who created the classic Obama poster.

Things we’re all guilty of doing (I’m totally guilty of #1).

Enchanted Dolls…cool or creepy?

Instagram coasters.

The Olympics: Up close and personal from a London native.

Now you can search Google…in your own handwriting!

On poor grammar.

Currently watching: The ’90s classic 7th Heaven (a totally feel-good show…).

I couldn’t agree more, Leigh.

Genius: Thirtysomething BINGO. Remember disability bingo?

I’ve never read the Harry Potter series, but these Hogwarts treehouses are awesome, aren’t they?

Tetris bracelet.

And…Tetris dating rules.

Awesome mobile pizzeria.

Hmmm…is outdoor wallpaper a new trend?

Girl Crush: Eleanor Roosevelt.

And as always, feel free to connect with me on Pinterest, Twitter and Facebook. See you there, friends! xoxo

Great links! Love the Jurassic Park link, that was my favorite movie growing up!

So About What I Said is a daily blog that covers relationships, disabilities, lifestyle and pop culture. I love to laugh and have been known to overshare. I also have an unabashed obsession with pop music, polo shirts, and PEZ dispensers. Read more...
