Sponsor Spotlight: Umba Box

I’ve always loved getting surprises in the mail, so I was excited when I got the chance to interview Allison of Umba Box, an online boutique that sends a new handmade surprise every month to its subscribers; past boxes have included bath products and tea towels. Read on for more handmade inspiration and Allison’s favorite item in the boutique! xoxo

So tell me a bit about you and your shop.
We are a little different in that Umba Box delivers a handmade surprise each month to our subscribers. Our customers have been raving about our finds and love the element of surprise! We also introduce them to new artists every month and share a little about each artist’s story.

What inspired you to start the shop?
We were inspired to start Umba Box after finding frustration in searching through over-saturated sites like Etsy. It is getting more and more difficult to find quality, unique handmade items. We wanted to provide a curated, handmade surprise to our customers.
What is your favorite item in your shop and why?
It is hard to pick our favorite box, but if we must, it is the handmade, color block clutch from the February Umba Box.
