Have a lovely weekend

Happy Friday, friends! What are you doing this weekend? It’s a big weekend for me. Tomorrow is my sister‘s college graduation, and I can’t wait to see her walk across the stage; if there is such a thing, I think I suffer from a severe case of Big Sister Pride. Then on Sunday, I’ll be going to see my mom sing in our church choir for Mother’s Day. Lots of good quality family time coming up, which is my absolute favorite thing in the world. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and here are my favorite finds from the wonderful Web…

Literary settings inspired by real places.

Beware of first impressions.

How awesome are these pop-up place cards?

A truly twirl-worthy dress!

How-to: Make your own homemade nail polish.

A heartfelt letter from a daughter to her mother.

Baseball tees, anyone?

You go, Obama!

Gosh, I’m so glad they didn’t have these when I was 13 years old!

Break-up advice from moms.

How fun: Make your own photo props.

What do you think of TIME magazine’s breastfeeding cover?

Should you beware of mamas boys?

On my travel must-do list: Sit under the summer stars during the Brooklyn Bridge Park movie nights. Swoon…

Seven cool hotels around the world.

And, here are 5 graduation-themed posts for your weekend…

*Top ten cities for college grads.

Kate Miltner wrote her dissertation on LOLCats!

*Michelle Obama speaks at Virginia Tech commencement ceremony.

*College rankings: The Top 10 party schools, broest colleges and nerdiest colleges.

*The Graduate never gets old, does it, Mrs. Robinson?

P.S. Don’t forget to enter the Year of Fortunes Book giveaway — you’ve got until Monday! 🙂
