Mac and cheese cups

Macaroni and cheese has always been one of my comfort foods. In fact, for the first few months after my father died, it became one of my go-to favorites for dinner. So this morning, when I came across this new take on the childhood classic that Emily made, my mouth immediately started watering. Doesn’t it look delicious?

Do you have a favorite comfort food, friends? xoxo

P.S. A new Letter To My Future Husband is coming your way shortly! 🙂

It does look good; mac and cheese is one of my all-time favorites. But I like the soft part better than the crusty part, so I think these would be too crusty for me. But it might help with portion control! Nah, I'd just eat them all.

Hmmm…Love the concept! I'm not crazy about pasta, though! When it comes to comfort food, for me it's all about good cheeses, fresh bread and red wine 😀 Besos!

I definitely have a weakness for freshly baked bread. I could literally devour an entire loaf of bread if given the chance.

These mac and cheese cups look really good! And I bet you could add all sorts of delicious things to them!

Those look awesome! My comfort food has always been cupcakes. I know, more of a dessert than food, but they are a great comfort food. My step daughter loves mac n cheese, I'll have to make these for her to try!

Yes looks absolutely scrumptious. Great idea making mac n' cheese into little cups. Bet you my daughter would enjoy this too.

If you are ever in Oakland, check out Homeroom. It is a mac n' cheese restaurant. Their vegan mac is out of this world. http://homeroom510.com/

I too love macaroni and cheese and it is sad that I have tried to make it over and over and can't seem to make it the way I love it. One day it will be a classic that I will conquer. I just stumbled across your blog from a tweet. I am happy to be your newest follower.
