Peek Inside: Wall of family photos

For my next Peek Inside, I’d love to show you one of the favorite spots in my house: Our wall of family photos. We’d had the photos of my paternal and maternal grandparents adorning the walls for awhile. Above are my maternal and paternal grandparents, respectively.
But over the holidays, my mother found a few more photos in our basement and decided to create a full-on family wall. I love being able to just stand in front of it and feel like all the most important people in my life are with me, even if they’re thousands of miles away.
It’s a comforting thought, isn’t it, friends? I’d love to know: Do you have a lot of family photos hanging in your house? Where do you like to display them? Do you have a big family or a small one? xoxo

P.S. Do you see the photo of me in the upper left-hand corner of the third photo? That’s my senior photo from high school…and I practically look the same. Exactly the same. What’s up with that?? 🙂

How sweet. I always like looking at people's old photos.

We don't have a wall like that, but I'd like to make one.

we have frames full of family pictures all over our house! my favorite is the one filled with pictures of my grandpa when he was a kid, and his parents when they were kids too. most of the pictures are from at least the 30s, going back to the 1800s. they look straight from an old fashioned movie 🙂

I love family photos on the wall, but we don't have it at home. Will definitely scout for cute ideas after this 🙂

I would love to have photos on the wall! My family doesn't have many pics on the bookself, just few when we were tiny and small photo of my parents getting married. I decided to create my own photowall at my apartment, with the most important things on my life 🙂

Ivey and I also have a picture wall in our house! it's fantastic to be able to have all of those memories right there. Even better, whenever we get visitors they stop and stare at the wall!
