Happy September, friends! I’ve always thought of the first day of September as the unofficial first day of fall. The air is getting crisp, and I can finally lug my oversize, comfy sweater out of the closet. I’d love to know…what do you love about fall? Apple picking? Bike riding? The return of your favorite TV shows? Here are a few of the things I’m looking forward to…
Warm soups.
Crunching colorful leaves.
Fun fall shopping.
And of course, apple cider and sugary donuts.
And speaking of fall, I’ve got a fun series planned, so look for it to debut on Monday. I think you’ll enjoy it! xoxo
P.S. My fall fun last year! 🙂

Here in Florida…there really is no true fall season…it's just slightly cooler than the HOT HOT summers. So I am super excited that at the end of the month I am going to Upstate NY and Canada to feel the TRUE Fall season! I miss it so much! I was born and raised in Ohio!

Up here in California there's what we call "Apple Hill" Where orchards and orchards of apples are ready to be picked, eaten, baked, and fried. So that is what I'm definitely looking forward to.

It occurred to me today that you seem to be pack on your regular cheery posting schedule. I hope you take time this fall to relax and appreciate how strong you are! You are an inspiration to those of us that have bouts of depression and need to be reminded that we can get through it.

What do I love about fall? What do I *not* love about fall?! Even living in southern California where we don't really get seasons, except blazing hot summers & very mild winters, fall is still my favorite time of year. I dream of someday moving to the east coast so I can experience a real fall with breathtaking colors & actual cool weather!

I love fall so much, if it could be fall everyday of the year I would be in love. Sadly, I live in Florida now and we don't get seasons. It's either hot or less hot, lol.
My favorite part of fall is walking on the freshly fallen leaves and hearing them crunch beneath my feet. I would walk home from school just so I could walk in the leaves. I also love heavy sweaters, hot soup, warm blankets, fall specials (Charlie Brown, woot!)and all the colors associated with fall. I'm from Evanston, IL originally.

What don't I love about the Fall! Cashmere, candy, crisp air, church carnivals, Halloween, football, spiced scents, patent leather shoes, BOOTS… like those killer ones you have pictured, etc. 🙂

Had to add this on- huge Charlie Brown fan. Can't wait for those little shows to come on! I think I get more excited about them than my kiddos.
