Gratitude Journals.

Hello, friends, and happy Friday. Do you keep a gratitude journal? I’ve noticed my depression has made me a bit negative at time, feeling like I’m never going to get better, so I’m going to try to write down things I’m thankful for every day. I’m just using a little day planner, but these journals from etsy are neat, aren’t they?

Hope you all have a lovely and relaxing weekend! xoxo

Those journals are really pretty! I think it's a great idea to note the things you are thankful for on a daily basis. I feel so positive after I do that. 🙂

Ooh, that top one makes me happy! I'm thinking about starting some kind of journal/diary for happy thoughts, I feel like they are missing in my life right now and writing them down would force that smie into my day. Hope it helps for you!!

Years ago, in my first year of blogging I had a sticky post where, every day, I'd add to the list of what made me smile that day.

As someone who has dealt with depression at different times (sometimes quite severely) I can promise you doing this everyday will help. It's so easy to let your fears lead you down the rabbit hole but spending even 5 minutes using your brain for positive thoughts goes a long way. You strike me as a fighter, this is a good strategy.

I write in my gratitude journal every single night before I go to bed, and it makes life so much sweeter. Sometimes it gets hard to write something good when I've had a bad day, but if I can think of just one thing it makes my whole day look brighter. :^)

I keep a mental form of gratitude journal all the time, but writing it down would probably be better. Today I am grateful my brain fog has lifted enough that I can get some book reviews written. And the sun is shining!

That's a lovely thought. I'll start right here with a note of gratitude. yesterday it rained in Colorado. It never rains in Colorado. It was delightful. I went outside and stood in it an laughed.
