Dream Vacation: Ice Hotel.

Friends, did I ever tell you that I’m half Swedish? My mother’s grandparents and great-grandparents took the long journey across the pond to America. I’ve sadly never been to Sweden (it’s on my list of must-see vacation spots!), but the country’s Ice Hotel makes me want to hop on a plane right now!

The hotel, billed as “The world’s largest hotel made of snow and ice” has been a 20-year project. It started as a small igloo and now boasts direct flights from the UK. The hotel also has a magazine! Would you stay there? xoxo

P.S. I love their tagline too: Sleep well in -5º C. How cool is that?

P.P.S. More awesomely cool (pun intended) photos here!

BRR!! That makes me cold just looking at it. My family is from the Iranian desert, so my roots take me to warmer places 🙂

I would love to stay there! Actually, now that I am catching up with the rest of the world and reading "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo", I am feeling inspired to travel to Sweden.

I would totally stay there just for the sake of saying I stayed in an ice hotel! I'm not sure i would intentionally seek it out though.

This is amazing! I hate being cold, and I'm thinking there may be no warmth at that place so I don't think I could stay there! But, I love looking at pictures of it!
