Piano Engagement Shoot.

I love how a simple piano is so perfectly used in this engagement shoot (shot in a gorgeous field, no less!) by San Antonio-based photographer Clayton Austin. Aren’t these shots music to your ears, friends? What is one prop you’d love to use in your own engagement or wedding shoot? xoxo

P.S. Of course I love the red umbrella too! 🙂

These are so cute. It's amazing how wonderful and creative portrait sessions have gotten in the last few years. I want to get engaged all over again, just to take engagement photos!

love the pop of color from the umbrella! i'm not sure if i could pick any ONE item to shoot with, but i suppose i'd want to go for a very… vintage-y, old-school, back-to-basics look!

So fun! I can't imagine how they got the piano out there. But I love fun and unexpected engagement shoots like this. And I, too, love the umbrella.

I'm really loving the red umbrella. I never though about what kind of props I would use for engagement photos, but being from Seattle the umbrella would make sense. I do know that I would have them taken at the Pike Street Market since that is where my boyfriend and I met.

How gorgeous and romantic! I play the piano so I'd definitely consider it for a photo prop anytime 🙂 (Love the red umbrella too!)

I think I'd like to use Estelle, my '66 Mustang, as my prop. She's sky blue, and oh so pretty.
Now, if only I could figure out the guy this easily.

My Husband is a gold miner and a pilot so in some of our engagement shots we had hard hats with head lamps on and some we were in our plane with the pilot headsets on. Made the invitations have a little touch of our new life together.:)

This is so gorgeous and so simple. I wish we had kept it more simple for our engagement photos (instead of running all over town finding special spots). This is so Lovely.

    Hope you're doing wonderful!

These photos are simply beautiful. I really like the picture frame and plant as my fav. props for this set =) and if I were to choose my own props, I would most definitely use something that incorporates the personality of the couple.

I also like the idea of the couple holding up an empty picture frame, framing their faces or each one holding a small chalk/white board with a special message on it ("I love you") for the other to read.

I love the idea of the piano. Whenever people have props like that it's so awesome. Well worth the extra effort.
I have no idea what I want to do for my pictures yet, so I guess I will just have to keep looking around at awesome pics online. Oh darn. ;D
