Dream Vacation: Vermont in the Fall.

My mom was lucky enough to travel to Vermont over the summer. I’ve never been there, but this travelogue from Ashley + Aron’s summer travels is giving me Vermont Fever. Wouldn’t it be great to take a roadtrip along a winding Vermont highway and see the beautiful fall leaves, friends? Do you take any fall trips? xoxo

P.S. Don’t think I wouldn’t buy cases of Vermont maple syrup by the truckload either! A trip to the Vermont General Store would most definitely be in order. šŸ™‚

That looks so nice! I've never been to the north east in the fall, but I went to a few places up there a few summers ago. So beautiful!

I hate to rub it in, but I'm headed there this weekend! A couple hour drive north, through the cute little villages, on our way to see more gorgeous trees. My husband and I do this every year, and I look forward to it so much. We almost always stop by the Vermont Country Store too! A fun place to start holiday shopping. We also coincide our trip with a huge Craft Fair, so we'll get to see lots of cool arts and crafts. Most importantly, we'll relax and take in the beauty that is Vermont! Thanks for getting me even more excited!

Oh Yes, Melissa, I love road trips. Hubby and I have taken a road trip to Vermont too!! It's just beautiful, with all of the scenic backroads, and interesting sight seeing points…including the Ben & Jerry's ice cream factory!!! ^_^

Oh oh, I have a total soft spot for Vermont! (My surrogate god-grandparents were from there :)) I love it for the autumn leaves and hope you get to go soon (it would make a sweet mother-daughter trip :)).

When I was a teenager, I was blessed to have a set of grandparents who took their grandchildren with them on extended vacations each summer. Several years in a row, we stayed for about three weeks in a little cabin on a dairy farm by Lake Willoughby in Vermont. They are absolute some of my cherished memories, and Vermont is as beautiful as the pictures you've seen, if not more beautiful. It's one of my favorite places on Earth. Definitely go as soon as you can. And the maple candy is even better than the syrup! šŸ˜‰

That looks absolutely lovely and I always wanted to go to Vermont for the longest time. Being a ninja and all you would think I’d get around more.

I hope you are able to visit there. Perhaps I might bump into you!
