Summer Pleasures: Lazy Lakes + Vintage Boats.

As we slowly wind down toward the end of summer, how about some lazy days on a lake, friends? These photos are part of Budget Travel’s feature on the world’s most beautiful lakes series. They feature lakes from Canada to Scotland to Italy to Kenya! Doesn’t it all sound incredibly peaceful? I get starry-eyed just thinking about it.
And of course, no lake vacation would be complete without some vintage boats, would it? Nevermind the fact that I’ve never driven one of those things, but I’m sure of one thing: I’d be the person sitting in the back, basking in the sun and sipping an ice-cold Barq’s. Ahhh, I can feel myself soothing into relaxation mode already.
