Obviously, I work year-round as a writer, but today was my first day back at my school-year job as a newspaper adviser. One of my favorite parts of going “back to school” even though I’ve been out of college for 5 years: Shopping for school supplies. So, I just couldn’t resist posting these few photos. Did I ever tell you that I have a tendency to become a bit too obsessed with pens and paper and notebooks and folders? And did I ever tell you that I once actually took a few snapshots of myself browsing said supplies? Well, here’s the proof. What do you think, friends? xoxo

I love school supply shopping, too. Not only that but I love the way school smells. I can't explain it (either you get it or you don't). It makes me want to be productive.

I absolutely ADORE back to school shopping. Even though I've been out of school for a few years, I often try and replenish my pen/paper supply every September (and my trapper keeper collection, duh!) Also, those post-it's are absolutely adorbs!

I work in an office and still go crazy over new stationary (my colleagues and I devour the office depot catalogue!)
I think it goes back the days at school when there would always be that perfect girl in your class with amazing sparkly pens and erasers that smelt of strawberries! we all still want to be that girl! well, I do anyway!
