Inspiration: Jazz-Age Lawn Party.

Another item to add to my Reasons To Move To New York City list: Every year, Governors Island is transformed back in time to the roaring 1920s and the jazz age for the annual Jazz-Age Lawn Party. Flappers. Toe-tapping music. Beautiful costumes with pearls, of course. A frolicking, rollicking good time.
What could be better, friends? Doesn’t it look like so much fun? xoxo

P.S. See more photos of the lovely shennanigans from this year’s party here!

I've never understood the appeal of jazz or the flapper age, but it looks vaguely interesting.. Maybe a fun date.
