Mother’s Day Idea: Babies.

Have you heard about the new documentary by Focus Features? Babies captures those precious moments of four babies from around the world (San Francisco, Tokyo, Namibia and Mongolia) during that first adventurous, exciting year. “With no narration and minimal dialogue, it offers a rare, unfiltered cinematic experience,” says USA Today.

The film opens this weekend, and it would make the perfect mother-daughter date, don’t you think? xoxo

P.S. More cute baby photos from the film!

I actually really want to see this movie. I love seeing how people do things differently in other countries. I don't know about driving on the other side of the road but the clips with the babies with the chicken & the animals are too cute!!

I'd love to see this movie–BUT I think it'd make me a little sad that my daughter's such a big girl already!

    Happy weekend, Melissa!

I really want to see it. Apparently it's a serious documentary about cultures and child rearing. But also…BABIES! BABIES THE MOVIE!

Mina — I had no idea about the shooting style. It makes sense, though! 🙂
