Etsy Love: Coney Island.

Ever since I was little, I’ve wanted to go to Coney Island and spend the day there eating cotton candy, shopping and standing on the boardwalk overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Don’t these photographs from Depuis capture the spirit of that magical island?

Have you ever been there, friends? What do you recommend doing if I ever find myself washed ashore on the island? xoxo

I live about 20 minutes outside Manhatten in lower New York state but somehow I've never gotten to Coney Island. Maybe this summer. =)

    Cute pics!!

Well I've actually been there several times since I live in the city, and I must say those photos make Coney Island look way nicer than it really is. Its kinda dirty and gross, especially the beach. If you do happen to find yourself washed ashore, you MUST try a Nathan's hot dog. They're the best in the world! Guaranteed.

I think Coney Island was probably one of those things that was nicer back in the day, when it was cleaner.

So About What I Said is a daily blog that covers relationships, disabilities, lifestyle and pop culture. I love to laugh and have been known to overshare. I also have an unabashed obsession with pop music, polo shirts, and PEZ dispensers. Read more...
