One of my family’s favorite traditions when I was younger was watching classic holiday movies every year. We’d eat my mother’s famous (well, among my family and friends) almond cookies, sip hot chocolate and watch movies like Home Alone and A Christmas Story

Home Alone & The Christmas Story definitely are my two favorites as well. TBS will be having it's Christmas Story marathon. I love it cuz you can leave the movie at any time, come back in 3 hours and it's exactly where you left off!! =P

I would have picked the same two! But the sappy old black and white movies are nice, too.
However, this year I bought my brother Inglorious Basterds on Blu-Ray… so I have a feeling that is going to end up being our Christmas movie!

I love Christmas Story! I also really the the movie, "The Nativity" from a few years ago (from New Line). It's very touching!
Also, I watched an old 1950s movie called "The Spirit of Christmas" that was made with puppets that was a little odd, but fun (it's on NetFlicks streaming if anyone wants to check it out).
