Dating With Disabilities: Confusing Love Moments.

Teaser: So the ending with Crush Boy didn’t exactly turn out to be the fairytale, swooping ending I thought it would. At least I did come out of it with some semblance of my dignity. And, shockingly, a lot more clarity, too.

Clarity always comes when you least expect it.

The thing about Love is just when you think give up on it – someone or something swoops in and shakes you up to the core.

What can I say, you give me courage to dream! Someday, I'll be in the place you are now. I'm still struggling with the self-confidence to even think I'm worth the effort. Keep your chin up! 🙂

    Michell:

You're worth what you think you are. I find that if you feel you are not worth it, other people will pick up on that and think you aren't either. I think that's why they say it's so important to love yourself first. You are who you are. Embrace yourself.

Sorry to hear that things didn't work out with crush boy but at least you were able to walk away from the situation with something positive. Clarity can be a very beautiful thing.

And we live and learn and step out with a greater understanding of things…

So About What I Said is a daily blog that covers relationships, disabilities, lifestyle and pop culture. I love to laugh and have been known to overshare. I also have an unabashed obsession with pop music, polo shirts, and PEZ dispensers. Read more...
