The Dating Optimist.

I’ve been following The Dating Optimist blog for awhile now. What I love about its author, Amy Spencer, is that it’s not a cynical, give-up-the-fairytale-already site. In fact, it empowers the fairytale by empowering you to make it happen. What’s not to love about that? Who wants to sit around and wait for Prince Charming to take his sweet time anyway? You know he’s probably taking so long because he can’t tear himself away from ooohing and aaahhing at his gorgeous face in the mirror.

But I digress. I apologize – for digressing, not for the Prince Charming putdown. Anyway, it was so refreshing and humbling to wake up this morning only to find an email from Amy, telling me she was going to profile this little old blog on her site today!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Amy! Check out the link and tell me what you think!

I am hopeless for the fairytale, as well as being a firm believer that we make our own luck. Great blog, thanks for the link! {You always know the best places to visit!} 🙂

So About What I Said is a daily blog that covers relationships, disabilities, lifestyle and pop culture. I love to laugh and have been known to overshare. I also have an unabashed obsession with pop music, polo shirts, and PEZ dispensers. Read more...
