The Big News!

Remember last week when I said I’d hopefully have some big, exciting, earth-shattering news to share soon? Of course you do. You’ve been on the edge of your seats in anticipation, haven’t you?

Have you checked out Psychology Today magazine’s blogs? They feature blogs on everything from addiction to sleep and everything in between, including…..

My new blog Disabled and Thriving. I was hired last week! Find my first post here, and as always, let me know what you think! I’m anxious to explore – and hopefully impart some wisdom from my lifelong experiences – the world of disabilities. And YES, that includes continuing to knock down those pesky stereotypes too.

    Melissa!

    What wonderful news for you!

I went ahead and read the article. I like that you used the word "thriving" in the title.

Not just living but actually thriving.

Interesting thoughts about "identity vs. disability".

How we're born determines who we are but so does what we do with what we're born with…..the basic theme of your article.

Congrats, and I look forward to reading your future articles!
