Happy Friday, Beautifuls. I know I say this every month, but can you believe the first week of August is over? How did your week go? I’m still recovering from my big birthday celebration (I still party like it’s 1999).
I’ve also decided to add a new feature to these Friday posts. Check out 5 of my favorite blogs this week!
Children of the Nineties: A must-read for those of us who grew up wearing Scrunchies and watching Dawson and Joey fall in love.
Cupcakes and Cashmere: Hands down, one of the nicest, if not the nicest, bloggers I’ve come across to date.
Girl With A Satchel: A girl who loves magazines is a girl after my own heart
French Charming: A super-sweet lady with an even super-sweeter blog
The Rest Is Still Unwritten: A great blog from the male perspective. It doesn’t hurt that this guy is cute and charming, too.
There were quite a few fetching finds out in cyberspace this week…
I’m still working on my Bachelorette Mission
Why didn’t I think of the idea of a break-up box sooner?
I’m seriously considering this as my wedding dress
I’m a tiny girl, so it’s only fitting that I should live in a tiny house, no?
Look. it’s an Obama pillow
Yes, I did indeed join The Blizzard Fan Club
The long-awaited return of instant polaroids
My sister finally got me hooked on Flight of the Conchords
And now, the divorce entrance dance
I need to change my dating mindset
What would you sacrifice for love?
The last season of Monk (*sigh*) premieres tonight
A sociological awakening: Some of the question people ask Google
What does your first love say about you?

New research shows that men spend a year ogling women. That’s all?
Here comes the bride with her groom – an amusement park ride
For my birthday next year, I’m going to have these awesome party poppers
I’ve vowed to read The Time Traveler’s Wife before the movie opens

Such fun links! I was a child in the 80's and I still watched Joey and Dawson fall in love. I'm quite immature for my age 🙂 On the other hand, I'm thinking of cutting short a night out for my birthday tonight so that I may watch the season premiere of the last season of Monk. So now I suppose I'm really old for my age 🙂
Thanks so much for linking to my Tiny Houses post!

I look forward to your friday links every week. Thanks for them. 🙂
Also, I just finished The Time Traveler's Wife a few weeks ago with the same goal as you. It was wonderful! I can't believe I let it sit on my shelf unread for so long. Now I'm almost done with Julie and Julia with My Life in France waiting in the wings. Such a good summer for books and movies!
Have a wonderful weekend!

No kidding. This was a week I was happy to see filed away in the drawer where I keep all my other weeks that have been filed away. Now I am ready to take this weekend out of the drawer where the future is kept and set it up so I can get it configured and tested and then let loose some stress testing on it until Sunday around 6:00pm where I will start the process of filing this weekend away in another drawer. I'm tired now.

yay for a Dawson's Creek post! Can you dedicate it to me?? 🙂
Children of the 90s says
Haha, absolutely! My sister was obsessed, I may have to consult her for resources. I've gotten some flack that my posts tend to be too girly, so I might have to put it off a couple of weeks. I promise, I will let you know when I do!

Hahaha! I was all about Joey/Dawson!! 🙂
