Man Candy Monday

I have a confession. It’s a rather shameful one, so please don’t think any less of me. I tried to resist the temptation. I tried with every ounce of strength I had, but there was a more powerful force at work here, even, surprisingly more powerful than myself.

Alright, I’ll just come right out and say it: I’ve given in to my urges and am in the midst of reading (read: devouring) the Twlight series. And although I’m not seeing the movie until I’ve finished the first book, I’ve already fallen head over heels for….

ROBERT PATTINSON/EDWARD CULLEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me too! he is GORGEOUS! I haven't had a star crush since I fell in love with Brad Pitt watching Meet Joe Black in the cinema! I think, as well as the good looks, it's the dark brooding thing. Very Mr Darcy (Colin Firth was my other crush).

I had the good fortune to visit Forks, WA, where the series takes place. It is SUCH an interesting little town. The country/landscape around there is so mysterious and beautiful! If you are ever able to get out there, do it!!

OMG. He's so hot. By the way you will love the Twilight Series, I've read each of the books twice. I cant wait till the next movie comes out. You literally fall in love with Edward Cullen. Have fun reading!

No; this guy is not good looking. He is pasty white and his facial features are weird.

Also, I don't care how good the Twilight series is. I refuse, as a 28-year old woman, to read books geared toward women ages 13-17.

Although Robert Pattinson is still quite a good looking young man (I sure wouldn't turn down a date offer!), I have to say that he looks his best as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Maybe I'm just a fan of the I-actually-ran-a-brush-through-this-this-morning hair. Haha

The books were great; I read them pretty quickly. I thought the movie was painfully bad. The acting was awkward; everyone seemed to be uncomfortable. It's sad because the time I spent watching that movie is time I can't get back.
I'm sure you'll enjoy the rest of the books.

I too am passing a Twilight phase :). I've read the (1st) book – I don't remember having read a book in such short time & with such great interest (Robert Pattinson can be cute, but he's not the Edward Cullen I created in my mind & fell in love with while reading the book) – & I'm currently addicted to the soundtrack.
Book 2? Well, the 1st chapter did not fascinate me. Further reading required.

I am 29 and a Twilight addict myself!

There is something so timeless about the love story.

If after you read the books, watch the movie and are still craving for more…check out http://www.twilighted.net. It is an online community of fan fiction writers that specifically write about Twilight.

Congrats on becoming a Twi-nut! Welcome to the fold.

    I am jealous lol

I think I am the only one who hasn't seen Twilight and I didn't know it was in Forks. I live in Seattle and have been planning to go to Forks this summer but I may have to watch the movie before I go.

So how does a mid-thirties loan officer compete with a guy like that? lol…nevermind
