The Obligatory “My Favorite Post of 2008”

Since I only started blogging in November, there’s not a lot to choose from (hmmm, that sounds a lot like the dating scene, doesn’t it??). So as I was going through all my posts this morning, I kept going back to the first one about Facebook Flirt. I know I probably sounds like a broken record by now, but there’s just something about this guy. He’s just…GAH! I don’t know what it is. Yes, a lot of it has to do with the fact that he’s the first guy who hasn’t made me feel like a freak about my physical disability.

TIP: If you want to be an anti-guy magnet, get yourself a physical disability. It’s worked wonders for me.

But really, Facebook Flirt doesn’t seem to notice. AT ALL. He makes me laugh (which is something I haven’t done a lot of since my father’s death) and gosh darnit, he’s GORGEOUS!!!

So how can I make him mine in 2009? I’m open to suggestions, but just remember that I’m a little on the prudish side. HAHAHA!

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE! I hope it’s a happy and fruitful one for you!

xoxo,
Mel

So About What I Said is a daily blog that covers relationships, disabilities, lifestyle and pop culture. I love to laugh and have been known to overshare. I also have an unabashed obsession with pop music, polo shirts, and PEZ dispensers. Read more...
