I’m the girl who doesn’t (usually) take good photos

I blame my sister for my new addiction to America’s Next Top Model. She got me hooked last season, and now I watch with rapt attention. I love the photoshoots best, how the photgraphers capture the models in that certain light.

On a walk (on Election Day, actually), the weather was unseasonably warm. I was walking through a grassy field and thought “Hmmm, the light seems to be right. The scenery is pretty with those fall colors.” So I began snappy pics with my snazzy camera phone. My mother will tell you that I’m the most self-indulgent person when it comes to taking pictures of myself, which is ironic, considering I’m frankly not all that beautiful. But I was proud of these two pics, the way my hair is blowing in the wind. I dare say I even look semi-normal.

Hope you enjoy them!

I think what's great here is how your auburn hair and the autumn colors are just beautiful together. Maybe you have more of an eye for photography than you thought?

Congrats on Blog of Note. 🙂

You look more than semi-normal, you look normal. Because you are normal. And that's quite a fact. You also look absolutely lovely.
